Parking Pass for PACE
During our annual activities fair, SPSEA sold raffle tickets to win a parking pass to park on campus. Profits from our fundraiser earned us $100 that was donated to PACE. The lucky winner of the parking pass was our SPSEA president, Eli Imbrogno. Congratulations Eli!

Politics Workshop
Fritz Fekete, PSEA Southwestern Regional Advocate Coordinator, presented to the Southwest Region at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg about the importance of voting in off year elections. Teachers and future educators should be aware of candidates that are pro-education and vote in their local elections. Education, teachers, and curriculum are effected by the decisions our elected leaders make.

Trick-or-Vote
During the Halloween season, SPSEA members knocked on the doors of dorms across the campus to offer people candy and ask them if they were registered to vote and to consider pro-education candidtates. The majority of open positions this year are held at the municipal level, voting for school board officials and various other local positions which will directly affect our positions in the near future. This event has allowed Pitt-Greensburg SPSEA members to be involved with encouraging peers to vote for pro-education candidates.

PACE Food-basket Fundraiser
2015/2016 Academic Year
Each year, our SPSEA chapter tries new ways to raise money for PACE. This year, in addition to the PACE raffle during the activities fair, we also had a basket of food available in the Education Department office. Included in the basket were packaged bags of nuts, candy bars, fruit snacks, and other snacks. Students and staff could buy what they liked based on a trust system. The profits of $60 were sent to PACE in February.
